Having led teams, strategy development, business digital transformation, managing business operations and marketing a diverse global brand portfolio across Australia, Oceania, Asia Pacific, China, UK and North America, David’s fundamental approach is founded on a customer first philosophy.

David has a passion for the local community, lives on the northern beach’s and has been a Surf Life Saving Member and is involved with local sports and junior coaching.

As a Director of MWP Community Care, David is motivated to help contribute to the development of the quality of services and experiences provided by MWP Community Care to the people in our community.

Madeline Yan

Board Member

Madeline is a Home Care Manager with leadership experience across aged and disability care, community services, marketing, consulting, finance and government. Over the course of her career, she has developed strong capabilities in strategic planning, operational management, and frontline service delivery. She holds an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Health Service Management (Aged Care).

A long time resident in Northern Sydney, Madeline has a solid understanding of the local community. As a board member of MWP, she supports the delivery of effective and sustainable aged care. Madeline is committed to ensuring accessible and quality services that help older people live well at home.”

Michelle Carlyle

Board Member

Michelle has worked in senior roles, including C-level, across large multi-nationals, private organisations, and community services (disability and children’s services).

Michelle has a broad skillset including governance, strategic planning and implementation, product/service development and innovation, risk management, sales/marketing, fundraising, client experience, and leading teams through major disruption. This experience gained over many years and across different industries is combined with formal education (MBA and Institute of Company Directors graduate).

Having lived on the Northern Beaches since 2002, Michelle says “it’s a privilege to be a part of an organisation that is supporting our wonderful community to stay safe, connected and healthy as they age”.

Toby Williams

Board Member

For almost a decade, Toby worked alongside State and Federal Members of Parliament by assisting them to support their communities, but he now works in the not-for-profit sector for a local organisation delivering accommodation and support services for vulnerable children and young people.

A lifelong resident of the Northern Beaches, Toby is passionate about volunteering and is involved in the leadership and governance of many local social, sporting and charitable organisations, including Harbord Bowling and Recreation Club, Narrabeen Swimming Club, Warringah Amateur Swimming Association, Manly Warringah Football Referees Association and The Salvation Army’s Red Shield Appeal.

Toby has also served the community as a NSW Justice of the Peace, for over ten years.

As someone who cherishes the close ties he enjoys with older members of our community, Toby is very pleased to now serve on the Board of MWP Community Care.  Having witnessed first hand the benefits that supported independent living has brought to relatives and close friends, Toby is committed to ensuring that older members of our community stay socially connected, safe and independent in their own home.

Amanda Vance

Board Member

Amanda is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with extensive experience in providing high-quality care and support to older adults in both Hospital and General Practice settings. 

Skilled in comprehensive patient assessment, chronic disease management, and person-centred care planning, ensuring dignity, comfort, and wellbeing for every patient.  

Her experience extends to coordinating multidisciplinary teams, policy writing and review, mentoring staff whilst fostering an environment that promotes safety and respect. 

Living and working most of her life within Northern Sydney, as a MWP Board member she is committed to enhancing quality of life for older people and advocating for equal access to compassionate holistic care.”
